What Are Some Recipes Of Cayenne Pepper?

Well, there is some wird combination  you cannot first imagine. Cayenne papper can be sprinkled on popcorn, dry rubs, or even eggs.

There is a Classic Chinese Cayenne Pepper Recipe. 

  • 4 green chili peppers
  • 1 package of tofu
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt
  • 10g cayenne papper 
  • 10g soy sauce
  • 5g oyster sauce
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced and chopped 
  • 10g balsamic vinegar
  1. Wash the green chilis. Remove the stems and cut down the length of the chilis into 2-3 pieces. Gently flatten them with a rolling pin so they are slightly soft.
  2. Prepare the sauce by combining 4 tablespoons soy sauce, 1 tablespoon oyster sauce, a small spoonful of sugar, a small spoonful of salt, 5g balsamic vinegar and some water. Mix well and adjust amounts to taste.
  3. Heat a wok without oil. Fry the chili peppers and cayenne papper over medium-low heat, turning occasionally, until lightly charred on both sides. Remove from wok and set aside.
  4. Heat the wok again and add oil. When the oil is hot, add the minced garlic and stir fry briefly until fragrant.
  5. Add the mixture of chilis and tofu strips. Toss to coat and mix well.
  6. Pour in the prepared sauce. Cover and let simmer until peppers and tofu are cooked through. Halfway through, uncover and turn ingredients, then recover and continue simmering.
  7. When peppers and tofu have absorbed flavors and sauce has reduced, remove from heat. Pour remaining sauce in wok over top. Garnish with chopped green onions.
