Experience a cleaner, natural way to light your candles and herbs with Ohcans Natural Hemp Wick. Made from 100% raw hemp fibers, our wicks provide a pure and smooth burn, enhancing the flavors and aromas of your herbs. Say goodbye to harsh chemicals and enjoy the full potential of your herbs with our hemp wicks.
Our organic hemp wick is made from 100% organic hemp and coated with 100% beeswax. It offers a lower temperature flame, resulting in a smoother and better taste compared to a butane lighter. The wick burns slowly without dripping. Each spool is 200 ft long with a diameter of 1.0 mm.
Our hemp wick is a thin string of natural hemp fibers coated in beeswax. Pure hemp twine tends to be too dry and burns easily, so the addition of beeswax helps control the burning, allowing the hemp to burn at a slow and steady pace. The twine is coated in beeswax by dipping it into a container of melted beeswax and then allowing it to cool and harden.
Hemp wicks are typically sold in balls, bundles, booklets, or included inside custom-made lighter cases for convenience.

01 Candle Storage
Candles should be stored in a cool, dark, and dry place. High temperatures or direct sunlight can cause the surface of the candle to melt, which in turn can affect the fragrance level of the candle, resulting in insufficient fragrance when lit.
02 Lighting the Candle
Before lighting the candle, trim the wick from 5MM-8MM and keep it burning for 2-3 hours for the first time. Trimming the wick will help the candle burn evenly and prevent black smoke from burning and soot from the candle cup. If you want to burn for a long time, extinguish the candle every 4 hours, trim the wick length, and light it again.
03 Extinguishing Candles
Always remember, do not blow out the candle with your mouth! Not only will this damage the candle, but it will also produce black smoke, turning the wonderful aroma of the scented candle into a smoky smell. You can use an extinguisher to extinguish the candle or use an extinguishing hook tool to dip the wick into the wax oil. Please stop burning the candle when it is less than 2cm, otherwise, the flame will burn empty and there is a risk of blowing up the cup.
04 Candle Burning
Be sure not to leave candles unattended. Keep burning candles out of the reach of children and pets. Protect your furniture, the candle will become quite hot after 3 hours of burning, so please try not to place it directly on the furniture. The lid can be used as an insulating pad.
